Holy S**t, Debbie Rowe wants custody of the Jackson kids! Is this any surprise to anybody?
Here is a woman that is absolutly no part of her childrens lives. Now that their father is dead, she wants to get custody. In a 90 minute phone interview with an NBC 4 reporter, she said “I am stepping up” and “I have to”. Why step up now Debbie? Are you out of money? The only reason you want to “step up” is probably because you know you will benefit from having custody of those kids. You should crawl under a rock and stay there.
As of now, all three kids are under the temporary court-ordered custody of Katherine Jackson who Michael Jackson named in his 2002 will. This is where the kids should be. They are probably completely torn up. They are young and just lost their father and will NEVER be able to see him again. Their whole life has turned upside down. Keep these kids with the people that actually love them and the family that they actually know. This way, they will at least be in some sort of comfort zone.
Not to play devil’s advocate… I have a different point of view of this topic. And you’re right, Debbie Rowe was only a womb for rent. However, I’m not sure we should condemn her for that. She made an adult pact between herself and Michael. Having adopted two children and hearing many adoption stories, it isn’t an unheard of story. The big difference is the crazy money she got for the divorce settlement and who wouldn’t jump at that brass ring.
Here’s where I differ. It’s pretty much been splashed everywhere that the Jacksons are a screwed up family. Few could deny this. I imagine that Debbie Rowe is wondering if it’s really in the best interest for the children she bore to be raised in the same environment that created Michael. Also, Katherine is almost eighty, so if she does get full custody, what happens when she passes away. Will Latoya step up to the plate? Tito? Germaine? Diana Ross?
Bottom line. Is there really a good solution to this? I don’t think so.
Well put. I completely agree with what you said about Katherine being 80 and who else would step up. Plus the enviorment the kids would grow up in. I also agree that there is NO good solution to this. Hopefully the kids will adjust to what ever living situation they get into and thrive.

I thin Katherine is to old to start raising kids that have had such a ‘reclusive’ life. The entire family has used Michael (rode on his coat tails)and would possibly not have the kids best interest. God forbid that Joe Jackson become part of their upbringing. He would just find a way to profit by exploiting them.
At this point I think Debbie is the best choice. I have not seen where she has been in mental institutions,drug addicted, and for the most part has been out of the spotlight.
Great point on Joe Jackson and I absolutly agree with that statement. Plus, your right about Debbie Rowe. She has been out of the spotlight and it may seem she may be the only person to make sure those kids arent brought up the same way Michael was.
Debbie Rowe was out of the spot light because she was not longer “connected” with MJ. Right now the media are “hot” for more information on the Jackson kids. The Jackson family is use to the media and know how to protect the kids. I don’t think Debbie will 1)Be able to protect the kids and 2) Be able to handle the media onslaught that will come with custody of the kids. She will need security, guards, etc… this is a far cry from the secluded life she’s use to. I don’t think she is ready or capable of handling that kind of situation. IMO the kids should stay with their grandmother. From what I’ve heard the Jackson estate includes other family members homes.
