Although we had a very good summer, I am so excited to have the kids go back to school. It is such a great big load off of my shoulders. I don’t have to deal with a bunch of crap all day and the house actually stays pretty clean.
Oh, and don’t forget the ladies. That’s another great part about being a single dad and taking the kids to school. I get to look at a lot of good looking mom’s and not feel guilty. It’s great!!!
The only downside to the kids being back in school is, I have to wake up at five a.m. every day to get my son ready and off to school. The bus picks him up at 6:25 a.m., luckily the bus picks him up in front of my house.
I can deal with waking up early in the morning as long as my kids are at school all day.
I bet you some of those moms would be pleasantly surprised that they were eye candy for you. Lots of moms think they lose their eye candy appeal after having kids.
5 a.m. is when the sun is not out in the winter time. It still feels like the middle of the night. I’ve seen it plenty of time. However, I don’t have to get up until 6 a.m. so I can get ready for work and get the youngest to her bus by 7 a.m.
I don’t cheer when school starts. I’m as bad as the kids moaning about it. I like the relaxed pace of summer. But, then again I’m not a single parent having to keep three kids entertained all day long either. So I can see why you’d appreciate the beginning of the school year.
