Meeting her

The first time I ever saw her I just got done getting my kids from school. We were walking down to our van and walking past the busses. The little one was lagging a little bit so I turned around to check on her. That’s when I first saw her.

I did a total double take. It wasn’t like she was right in our faces. She was quite a ways back but luckily I still noticed her. I played like my son’s wheelchair was broken or something so she could catch up. As her and her daughter past us, his chair miraculously was repaired.

I really wanted to say something to her but couldn’t get any kind of words out. Then I noticed she was carrying a “Padres” lunch box. So I asked her about it. Totally dumb but that’s all that came out.

Through the next couple of weeks, I ALWAYS looked for her at the school. Instead of simply taking the kids to school because I had to, I turned into going to the school simply to get a glimpse of her.

One Friday morning I got my daughter to school slightly late. As I was walking my daughter up there, this girl came out of the office and suddenly introduced herself to me. I was in total amazement and couldn’t believe I was talking to this girl that I have thought about for weeks upon weeks.

After she introduced herself to me, I went on my way but could not get her out of my head. I went home and kept thinking about her and how I could actually get to know her a bit better. So I decided to write her a “note” and put it on her car. So I wrote the note, drove back to the school, and put it on the window of her car. Low and behold she called me later that night. What a douche bag to put a “note” in her car right??? But hey, at least she called me!!!

  • This is a sweet, romantic story, kind of humorous story. I know I’d be touched if I guy I wanted to meet and get to know better left a note on my windshield. And she must have wanted to meet and get to know you better if she not only introduced herself, but called you. I hope more sweet, romantic, funny stories follow.

  • I’ve shared you post on digg, good work
