My ex-wife really knows how to put a damper in my life. On Saturday, the girls were spending the night with her at their Nana’s house and my son was spending the night at my parent’s house. Holy cow! I had a night off. My cousin, her husband, and her fantastic new baby came up to my house to BBQ. After hanging out for a while we decided to go down to their house by the beach. It had been a really long time since I had some sort of time like this.

Just before we were getting ready to leave, my oldest daughter called me. She calls me all the time when she is visiting her mom. Through conversation, she asked me what I was doing that night. I told her where I was going and she thought that was pretty cool. She was telling me about what they were going to do the next day (go swimming) and she was very excited.

When I got off the phone with her she said her mommy wanted to talk to me. The ex got on and said “I need you to come get the girls because I am sick”. Figures! She probably heard me talking to my daughter and knew I was going out. She probably just wanted to ruin it for me simply because that’s just the way she is. Anything she can do to ruin a good time for me she will do.

I couldn’t believe she wanted me to come get the girls because she was “sick”. I really wish that I could do that whenever I am sick. Just call somebody to come take care of the kids when I am not feeling well. But no, when I am sick I just have to suck it up and deal with it. It doesn’t matter if I am puking with the flu or whatever. Must be nice.

So, I had to make a two hour round trip to go and get my girls to bring them home. We all decided to just hang out at my house and my cousin went with me. It was actually nice just hanging out with my cousin. I was also pretty relieved when I got my girls home. When they are gone, I really miss them.

My crazy ass ex-wife #2 is seriously mentally delusional. For some reason she thinks she is the greatest mother in the world, “Mother Of The Year” I like to call her. I have always tried to keep some sort of friendship with her really for the kids sake. I felt it was kinda important and still do. But not now.

The other day when she called, I did not call her right back. I was kinda busy. This sent her into a frenzy of really crappy text messages to me. I would have posted the text messages but accidental erased them. She started saying that if I did not call her back she would call the police. I texted her back and said I had some friends over and that the kids would call her tomorrow. She started saying that I was a drunk, was more into getting “p***y” than taking care of my kids, and a whole bunch of other great stuff. She was even saying that the girls wanted her more than they wanted me. She also said that she is getting the child support order reversed because she was not served properly. (Read my post on this by clicking here).

Now I am irritated. Lets do a little run down to see who does more for these kids and who is the better parent.

You:

Cheated on me which also means you cheated on your kids.

Stole money from me which made it difficult to feed the kids, and you knew this.

Have at least three DUI’s on your record.

Have been to jail.

Are in an alcohol rehabilitation program. This is a total cop-out, you just cant take responsibility for your actions and want to blame it on something. When we were together you rarely drank.

Will not pay any kind of child support to contribute to the well being of your children.

Constantly lie. Habitual lier.

Have constantly lied to your kids.

Cannot mentally take the responsibility of being a mother.

You only want to be a mom in front of people or when it is convenient for you.

Me:

Changed my life around to become a single dad.

Had to quit a great well paying job to take care of the kids because you constantly cancelled picking them up or simply did not show up.

Had the daunting and disturbing task of having to tell the kids you were moving out.

Constantly hold and care for the kids when they cry because of your crap.

Wake up, feed, clean, and generally take care of all the kids by myself.

Make sure the kids get to school.

Entertain the kids and keep them busy on a constant basis.

If your any kind of parent, you know the list will go on and on and on. It is extremely aggravating dealing with an ex-wife when kids are involved.
